Go to your twitter profile and scroll down to RSS feed and you’ll get something that looks like this:

Do you want to transfer this feed to FeedBurner? It’s simple, just follow these four easy steps:
- Go To Your RSS Feed
Go to your Twitter profile and scroll down to the end of the right column and you’ll see a RSS icon. Click it and copy the page address (or right click the link without clicking and copy). It should be something like this http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/15391375.rss
- Login to FeedBurner/Register
- Add your username and password to the URL
You need to change the http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/15391375.rss to http://username:password@twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/15391375.rss
- Paste the modified URL to FeedBurner and modify your settings!
See, it’s that simple. Now you have your feed and you can do whatever with it. Submit to an RSS directory, use it on your blog etc.
Wanna check a site for updates without going to it and finding out that it hasn’t been updated? Today, I share my 3 top ways on how to stay updated. There are hundreds of ways to do this, but here are the top 3. Here we go….
1. RSS Feeds
Really Simple Syndication they call it.You know that Icon that looks like this
? That’s an RSS Icon, if you see that, it should mean that there is an RSS Feed available. If you have too many RSS feeds like I do, you can abbreviate them (rename) and re-arrange them like this..

If the site doesn’t have an RSS feed, you can always ask the owner to put one up.
2. Mailing Lists
Not exactly the instant notification option (unlike RSS!), but it works. If you don’t like RSS Feeds for some reason, you can always join the site’s mailing list if they have one. Some sites mail their posts daily, some do it weekly, and some do it monthly; depends on what the site’s about really.
3. Home Tabs
You can set your home page to multiple home pages, and then when you open your browser, there they are!
And then you check manually of course.
Q: I have a site and want to add an RSS Feed / Mailing List. How do I do it?
A: You can Google “RSS Feed tutorial” or you can use this one. For mailing lists, I recommend MailPress (for WordPress users), YourMailingListProvider or ListApp.
Feedburner is a RSS Feed service that allows you to track subscribers, and more awesome features. After I registered Shaibanii.com’s feed, I thought to myself, I MUST share this awesome-ness
Although you’ve got your blog’s RSS feed, that isn’t enough. You can use it if you want, but you’re missing out on some great features! With Feeburner you can track your subscribers, these are the people that keep coming back for more!
Feedburner makes it easier for your readers to subscibe to your feed via other emails, eg. My Yahoo!. Also, you can notify other services or people that you’ve posted something new (Pings). Another thing, you can change your feed without losing subscribers.
There are many other features and add-ons that if you use, you won’t regret it. So ‘How do I do it?‘. Simple, head over to Feedburner.com and register, its pretty much self-explanatory. I don’t know if this will work with Cutenews or whatever, but it definitely works with WordPress, Blogger, MySpace, and more services.
