Dear Blog,
Today, as I was shopping (Yes, I do shop — I’m forced to.) for my “vacation” to Kuwait (It’s cold there.), I came across a toys store. In that toy store, there was this kid (Congrats, you’re famous!
) with his mom, playing with a toy. He pressed the button on the toy, and 50 Cent’s In Da Club song started playing. Holy f**k!
Rap, kids, under 5 years old. And there are ratings and restrictions for games, movies, almost every other thing. It drives me crazy! A kid, a boy, a little kid, it’s not even funny — it’s a kid, is allowed to have a toy that at the press of a button plays a verse that contains And you know we don’t give a fuck.
I get asked to show my ID every time I buy a movie ticket (with the exception of Madagascar 2 and G-rated movies, which by the way, is awesome!!), why? To make sure I’m not underage. Obviously. What about the people who aren’t? To make sure the producers don’t get sued for being a bad influence? There are other ways, and nowadays they’re found in a store that only mothers and children enter! (and employees..) Wow.
How awesome? (Sarcasm)
