I’ve recently had a trojan and a malware situation, which simply, kept popping up this fake anti-virus called ‘Vista Antivirus 2008′, it can also be called ‘XP Antivirus 2008′. It can get really annoying since it keeps popping up and you can’t close it using the close button, don’t worry, the viruses it detects are 100% FAKE!
Luckily, I got rid of it. You don’t ALWAYS have to lose all your data, you can just remove some things by following a few simple steps. I looked around and I found a guide that shows you how to get rid of it. The site — BleepingComputer, also has other guides on how to remove malware, viruses, trojans etc. So don’t always make formatting the #1 way to get rid of nasty computer problems.
