In case you don’t know Windows Live Writer, its a desktop writer. So, instead of logging in to WordPress or blogger or whatever. You just have to open it up, enter your password and post (After setting it up of course, which is pretty simple.).
I heard all about it, and decided to download it to find out what’s so awesome about it.
It’s pretty straight-forward, Writer options on top, and under it the post’s options, then writing options. The sidebar features drafts, recent posts, and insert options. You can use it’s WYSIWG editor, or just X/HTML.
On the downside, nothing! I can’t find anything that’s bad about this. I just did, when I was publishing this post… Error strikes… 403 Forbidden. Can’t seem to find anything on Google. I found a few sites that said it’s caused by the ‘Bad Behavior’ plugin, which I don’t have.
This sucks, it’s just so awesome yet it doesn’t work
What the ****! O.O But enough about me, I’ll just pretend that it works, so I don’t start b*tching about un-lucky I am. Now, overall it’s pretty good, simple to use, easy to setup. Although I have to mention this — I don’t like the Windows Live installer, because it takes a long time to install things, then you get an error.
I had to try to install it 2 times
Anyway, here’s a screen-shot:
Note: This post was published using Windows Live Writer WORDPRESS!
Another Note: Although I can’t publish, it’s always a good place to write the posts, and then copy-paste them to WP
